PRACTICAL TIPS AND IDEAS FOR ARRANGEMENTS
Baseboards are the interior finishing element that proves the truth of "less is more." Although this saying originally refers to fashion, there's no reason why it can't apply to interior finishing, where functionality, timelessness, and elegance also count. The ALPHA baseboard combines all these elements.
ALPHA, YUTRA, and SALAG
The ALPHA baseboard is a new addition to SALAG's product line. This company - under the Yutra brand - also produces wall panels and floor panels characterized by rich colors, high durability (high wear resistance class), water resistance, footstep sound dampening, and an easy Click mounting system. The panels come in two options - with and without underlay. For interior finishing with Yutra panels, ALPHA baseboards match perfectly in terms of color, available in decors corresponding to the panels (Solid Oak, Noble Oak, Mint Oak, Royal Oak, and others) or in a neutral white version. The baseboard can also be painted in any color to further emphasize the interior's character.
ALPHA is available in several sizes (height 60, 65, and 80 mm, length 247 cm). The ALPHA baseboard, made from hybrid PVC (70% recycled), is both aesthetic and practical. Besides the obvious advantages such as masking expansion joints, protecting wall and floor connections, and safeguarding against dust and dirt, it's worth mentioning the advantages that might make this baseboard quickly become a "favorite" among installers and DIY-oriented customers.
**One baseboard - 3 mounting methods**
ALPHA's innovative mounting system allows adapting the baseboard installation method to any needs, providing the most universal profile on the market. The ALPHA baseboard mounting system is a patented solution ensuring the best baseboard installation - using a special stainless steel clip. This solves two main problems that occur during typical installation.
Firstly: the clip ensures continuous "pressing" of the profile against both the wall and floor, preventing any possibility of gaps, which is a persistent problem with traditional mounting.
Secondly: it enables profile mounting without using screws or adhesive - a complete market innovation covered by multiple international patents. Nevertheless, with ALPHA, adhesive use is also possible.
The baseboard can also be attached to the wall using plastic clips fastened with screws. Importantly, the ALPHA baseboard "doesn't melt" during mechanical cutting (with a miter saw) or hand cutting. The baseboard doesn't chip, which often happens with angle cutting.
